I think Cadbury has really missed out on this phenomenon. I mean, really, the problem with the creme eggs is that there is nothing to cut the sweetness. Add a little bit of pretzely-salty matzo tang, and, voila! problem solved. Of course the marketing folks might be a little wary that such a matzo creme egg, combining as it does earth-cult, Christian, and Jewish symbolism, would only be truly welcome among unitarians. But surely that's not reason enough to prevent some intrepid person from experimenting and reporting back....
I don't know if you follow Christine Copeland's blog. She has made toffee matzo for Passover. Recipe included!
